MICHAEL C. PYRROS received his bachelors degree from American University in Washington, D.C. in 1985. A graduate of Hofstra Law School, Mr. Pyrros has devoted his professional career to representing injured workers. Mr. Pyrros’ vast trial experience before the New York Workers’ Compensation Board has earned him a reputation as a leader in the field. Prior to his admission to the Bar of the State of New York, Mr. Pyrros practiced as a Licensed Workers’ Compensation Representative. Mr. Pyrros is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The New York County Lawyers Association and the Eastern Orthodox Lawyers Association. Mr. Pyrros' fluency in Greek and Spanish enables him to understand the personal concerns of the firm's multilingual clients and to effectively serve their needs.

MICHAEL SERRES is a 1989 graduate of St. John’s University School of Law. Mr. Serres was admitted to practice law in New York State in 1990, and is also admitted in the Federal District Courts for the Southern and the Eastern Districts of New York. While at St. John’s, Mr. Serres was a member of the Moot Court Senior Bar and received special honors for serving as managing editor of the St. John’s Law School Forum newspaper. Mr. Serres was an associate at one of New York City's premier law firms, where he gained valuable litigation experience. He represented some of the nation's largest financial institutions. Thereafter, Mr. Serres has committed his professional career to representing the interests of injured workers and has lectured in the filed of Workers' Compensation Law.. Mr. Serres is a member of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association, the New York State Injured Workers’ Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, as well as the Queens County and New York State Bar Associations. Mr. Serres has successfully represented thousands of injured workers before New York’s Workers'; Compensation Board.

MARC A. STRAUSS earned his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1988, and his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1991. Mr. Strauss was admitted to practice law in New York in 1992, and is admitted to the Federal District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts as well as the United States Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit. Mr. Strauss has successfully represented clients at administrative hearings as well as appearing before the Federal District Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is an active member of the Social Security Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimanta's Representatives (NOSSCR), and has lectured in the field of Social Security Law.

NICHOLAS RUPWANI has nearly seven years of Workers’ Compensation experience. He has represented over one thousand claimants before the Board in all aspects of their claims. Prior to his arrival at Pyrros & Serres, Mr. Rupwani spent more than five years defending insurance carriers and employers in Workers’ Compensation cases. In fact, Mr. Rupwani was the lead trial attorney for a large employer in Westchester County. Mr. Rupwani received a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2003.
While at Syracuse, Mr. Rupwani was a member and Associate Editor of the prestigious Syracuse Law Review. He was also fortunate to serve the Syracuse community by taking part in both the Syracuse University Criminal Law Clinic. Mr. Rupwani also served as a Teaching Assistant the Street Law High School Externship Program, a College of Law program where law students taught law and government at local high schools. Mr. Rupwani received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Hartwick College in 2000. He graduated with departmental distinction in history, was a member of Phi Alpha Theta (the National History Honor Society) and was a Samuel Nelson Scholar. Mr.Rupwani was also a four-year member of the Hartwick men’s varsity tennis team.

JASON S. EISENFELD graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History in 2004. In 2007, Mr. Eisenfeld earned his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School where he represented workers in unemployment insurance benefits hearings and discrimination cases and where he held executive positions in the Brooklyn Law School Entertainment Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta. Mr. Eisenfeld interned in the Chambers of Hon. Carol Robinson Edmead, New York County Supreme Court.
In June of 2008, Mr. Eisenfeld joined Pyrros & Serres LLP where he has been helping injured workers in their cases. Mr. Eisenfeld is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York and is a member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association.

JOHN A. VOS graduated from City University of New York Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Religion in 2000. Mr. Vos earned his Juris Doctor from City University School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to practice law in New York in 2005 and is admitted to the Federal District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts. Mr. Vos has worked tirelessly representing injured workers. Mr. Vos worked at the 1199 National Benefit Fund for five years assisting Union members. Mr. Vos was a senior attorney at the Special Funds Conservation Committee where he represented the interests of the Fund and handled thousands of cases before the New York’s Workers’ Compensation Board. Thereafter, Mr. Vos has committed his professional career to representing the interests of injured workers. Mr.
Vos has successfully represented hundreds of injured workers before New York’s Workers’ Compensation Board.
